FAST LUBE OIL CHANGE SYSTEM

There are two types of FLOCS systems available from Aeroquip. One is the full drain system using couplings. The other type of system uses either an air-powered or an electric-powered pump for direct or remote access. More information about the latter can be found here.

FLOCS FD14 "FULL DRAIN" COUPLING SYSTEM

Benefits:

  • Able to Change Oil When it's Hot
  • No Hot Oil spills on the mechanic - no burns by (rumored carcinogenic) hot oil
  • One hand connect/disconnect
  • Full Flow Male Half Coupling can be used with gravity drain or pump system
  • Eliminates damaged or cross threaded drain plugs
  • Eliminates cost of repair or replacement of oil pan when oil pan threads are damaged due to cross threading (today's aluminum pans are especially susceptible cross threading)
  • No tools are required
  • Oil samples can be taken quickly for oil analysis
  • Couplings can be used to drain transmission, hydraulic, coolant fluids as well
  • Since the FD14 Drain Coupling is safer, faster and cleaner it translates to a more economical method of changing oil.
