Superior Waterblast Hose Assemblies from Omniflex

The number one reason for waterblast hose replacement is cover wear-through when hose lengths are dragged across work surfaces. The FC854-08 hose (10,000 psi working pressure) from Aeroquip incorporates super abrasion resistant Bruiser cover.

This is the same tough polymer cover used in dump truck liners and the bottoms of snow skis. Bruiser hose has the highest abrasion resistance and longest service life of any known polymer-covered hose.

The original waterblast hose from Aeroquip FC254-08 has also been improved with a new TuffCoat cover. Both products utilize internal skive/wire trap hose fittings to ensure superior fitting retention.

Benefits of Aeroquip Waterblast Hose Assemblies:

  • Longer Life – Bruiser cover outlasts standard rubber covered hoses up to 240 times.
  • Longer Life – TuffCoat cover provides greatly improved abrasion resistance over standard rubber covered hoses.
  • Safety – Protective covers resist failure due to cover wear-through
  • Superior Performance – Internal Skive fittings trap wire reinforcement between the steel socket and nipple providing excellent fitting retention
  • Less Drag resistance – Bruiser cover has a low coefficient of friction allowing easier handling of long hose lengths across work surfaces.
  • Lighter Weight – Both Aeroquip Waterblast Hose styles have lighter weight and a smaller O.D. than most competitive hoses.

Also available from Omniflex are FD69 Waterblast couplings in ½" version with 10,000 psi working pressure and 40,000 psi burst pressure rating. FD69 couplings are available in plated steel and stainless steel for added corrosion resistance.
